Hyderabad, July 8, 2024 – The sale of theatrical rights in Telugu states for the much-awaited film Indian 2 has created a stir in the market. The AP/TS rights of the film have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 24 crore, making it clear that both the audience's curiosity and the producer's expectations are at an all-time high.
The pre-release event of the film was recently held in Hyderabad, in which the audience gave a great response. Now all eyes are on July 12, when the film will hit the theatres.
Strong opening needed
The film will have to have a great opening at the box office to recover this huge amount of Rs 24 crore. A large part of the film's success will depend on the audience's opinion right from the first show. Film critics say that if the initial reviews are positive, Indian 2 will receive a lot of love from the audience.
The anticipation and buzz for the sequel
The buzz for Indian 2 has grown even more owing to the success of its predecessor Bharathyudu. Director Shankar's film stars Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, while Anirudh's music is its heartbeat.

However, the craze of Kalki 2898 AD has died down, which may give Indian 2 a good chance to make a place for itself at the box office. If the buzz is positive, fans will flock in large numbers to watch the film.
The theatres are heating up with the release of Bharathyudu 2, and now it remains to be seen whether the film lives up to its high expectations or not.
