The inspiring story of visionary director SS Rajamouli, who brought Telugu cinema to global fame, is now on Netflix. Today Netflix released the trailer of 'Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli', which gives viewers a glimpse into the great director's brilliant direction and creation of epic films. The documentary will premiere on August 2, 2024.
The trailer features insights from renowned Telugu actors Prabhas, Ram Charan and Jr NTR as well as acclaimed producer Karan Johar and Hollywood's iconic director James Cameron. All of them talk about Rajamouli's success and the hard work behind his films. Apart from this, MM Keeravani and Ram Rajamouli also appear in this Netflix Original, taking viewers through the story behind the music and production of Rajamouli's films.
Although the documentary is only available in English, there is a demand for it to be released in Telugu as well. We have to wait a little more to know if Netflix has planned additional language versions. It will be a great pleasure for Telugu audiences if they can watch this inspiring story in their mother tongue.
The 1 hour and 14 minutes documentary is produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Sehgal and Anupama Chopra and directed by Raghav Khanna. The film beautifully depicts Rajamouli's cinematic journey and the story behind the making of his epic films.
